Aloe Vera Shakes

With Watermelon in season it is hard not to buy this delicious fruit, however it is hard to eat a whole watermelon up before it begins to over ripen. So to help you out I decided I would share a little concoction I made up the other day.

6 cups of chopped Watermelon (Just small enough to get in the blender)

12 oz of Aloe Vera Drinking Gel (Yellow Bottle)

2 oz of Water

1/2 cup of parsley

2 teaspoons of lemon juice

1 carrot

–  Optional 1/2 teaspoon Virgin Olive Oil

• Place all ingredients in a kitchen blender and run on high setting until all parts are combined about 2 minutes. Drink immediately following blending or separation may occur.

I served this cold drink with breakfast, and it was a big hit! I love my coffee, but having something cool, refreshing and good for you is a whole new element I am loving about my breakfast time.

Okay because I am in a giving spirit I thought I would share one more awesome way to start your day off with this excellent meal replacement shake or for those who are on the go.

10 ounces of coconut milk (No sugar added)

1 scoop of Forever Lite Ultra Chocolate Shake Mix

1 cup of berries (blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, raspberries they are all good)

1 tablet of Bee Pollen (A tip for Forever Living Product lovers)

1 tablet of Bee Propolis ( A tip for Forever Living Products lovers)

4 ounces of aloe vera drinking gel

Instructions: I blend all the top ingredients together on highest setting, except the aloe vera drinking gel. Once all ingredients are incorporated I then add the aloe vera gel and mix lightly before drinking.

Once again make sure to drink immediately as the bee products will have a habit of settling at the bottom and you would miss all those excellent sources of nutrition.

The FLP way

When reading the newest addition of Aloe life I came across this story, which really made me happy to see how much effort and care our company places on its products. I have been drinking this brand of Aloe vera for almost 10 years now!

At first I wasn’t sure if what people where saying about aloe vera was true, but after I lost over 60 lbs (27 kilo) I have never looked back. Psss. Went to the hospital for my annual check up and the doctor was surprised when I explained that I weigh the same now as I did in high school! Also passed all my other examinations with flying colors!!!

Creating healthy habits and sticking to products that work for me has made all the difference. I seeing those products only continue to be further improved for me and the Earth is even a greater feeling.

Turning back the clock

I am so excited to share with you our newest skin care line. Forever Living Products has been producing top notch skin care products for almost 40 years now and has added yet another excellent product for both women and men.

What makes our products stand out, I would have to say it is the quality products we use in making them. Sound Advice

What do these pictures have in common? Well, they may have a few things in common however I think for arguments sake lets agree there is not much as they are of completely different landscapes and environments. So obviously we can see they are different so what is the point of this silly question then?

The point I want to make is that we often see things as silly as this comparison but because of influence we often over look the answer that can be as easy to spot as this comparison of the beach and forest.

The other day I was reading an online article talking about the future of industry and the return of craftsmen in the United States, and how our market is evolving for these traditional trades to come back. In the article they talk about the need of such craftsmen and the potential opportunities for people who work in these industries.

Okay how does this relate to the images and whats the point? Point one is the person writing the post is not a trades person and I am sure has limited experience in the industry. “But they’re an analyst so they have to know these things and study the trends!” Well, yes I agree they would have to have some kind of knowledge about the industry, or data to make their claims. However, they are collecting data of a great variety and very little is being done to synthesis that data into smaller fragments.

Now back to the pictures above, we could on a large scale say these pictures are of the same things. They are of habitats on Earth. Wow, great that is true and that does give us some information, but does it really explain the type of habitats or the details of those environments. No, it would not and same goes by these news medias and analyst writing these broad articles. So how do you get the info about the details well you need to talk to people in those areas who know the details. The same way if you wanted to know the best place to camp in the forest above you would ask a local there right.

My point to all this is the trades are seeing up-spikes in business is not an accurate picture. The truly skilled artisans and craftsmen are being desired by the elite groups as usual and are being paid an exorbitant amount of income. So why the up-spike then, well because the difference between today and 60 years ago is there are fewer people entering those career fields, because they were taught by their high school career councilors (authority figure) computer education is the future. So with less people in a career field, and with those specialized craftsmen earning well, the industry looks like it’s spiking. But lets face it that income is not evenly distributed among the career field, and it shouldn’t be, as we are talking about master craftsmen, people who have dedicated their lives to their tradecraft. And when it comes to people like that they will always be in high demand. The analyst can’t tell you how many people are currently working in this field for under the table income or for free, and how many people are working under a master craftsmen earning very little to nothing, and how many years they will have to continue to do so in order to earn the same kind of income that warrants the kind of pay being spoken about.

So before you go running into another job or decision based on what someone else told you ask your self one truly important question. “What am I willing to bust my butt for day in and day out?” Having this kind of mindset you can set yourself free from job market downsizing, you can set yourself apart because this is the type of person who goes home and continues to work, continues to learn and continues to improve themselves. This is not the type of person who says, oh that job market is open in that industry now so I will go do that instead because that will be easier than what I am doing now. Easier is good, but there is a difference between easier and lazy. If the decision is coming from lazy you are susceptible to allowing others to control your life and direction.

Stop looking for easier and start looking for what you love doing. Because lets face it in another 10 years I am sure another analyst will be saying that the trades are the lowest paying jobs on a national average and we should all become “X” now.

To my analyst friends this by no means was meant to downplay your role in the world or your skill sets. I appreciate the wealth of knowledge and experience you bring and I believe it is important to look at the trends and to see potential changes, and then to take that knowledge and apply it with our own knowledge and our own research to come to a logic conclusion. Often people hear something and without further knowledge or research take it as the only truth. And what makes this thinking even scary is that they gladly give their decision and thinking over to someone else only because they believe that person is the authority. So my goal was not to put down the critical thinkers but to instead raise up our own individual thinking to make the best out of the research we are given.

You are the authority of your own life, so be responsible and follow your heart to what you really want out of this world. Start dreaming again about the life you want, and stop giving the “right” of decision making over to others. And if your lost thats okay we all get lost from time to time, but instead know that you are lost and it’s okay. This understanding will prevent you from fooling yourself into doing something you don’t want to do, and better yet this will prevent you from acting as an authority and misleading others down the same road with you.

In conclusion I am not an analyst or an authority figure, nor do I wish to be, so do as you wish to do because in the end it is your own life you are responsible for. The analyst or the authority figures we so easily give our power over to cannot resolve our problems, that is something only we can do. So if your unhappy or lost look inwards and use the information as a helping guide to get back on your feet.

To you all I wish you the very best and I hope that more people will stop looking for the easy way out of life and start looking for the way to truly enjoy living it instead.

Asking questions are the first steps to an awakening

I really enjoy this film and I should have probably added it to my post yesterday, however my recent post was getting a bit wordy and so I thought I would just share it with you all today instead.

Are you happy with the direction of your life?

This film pretty much sums up everything I said yesterday, and ask those important questions that I think we all need to be asking ourselves.

Am I excited about the direction of my life?

Am I in control of my future?

Do I feel rewarded for my efforts at work?

Is this the best I can do?

Am I making a positive contribution to society?

WE have been focusing on chasing all the wrong things and have somehow stopped looking at what really matters and that is ourselves, our families and our communities! Our life should not be just about earning money it should be about living a happy, fulfilling life one that when we look back on we can smile with warmth in our heart.

It is time to start asking the right questions again!

U.S. Average Median Income

I normally don’t repost News articles, much alone read them however this topic caught my attention and it really makes me feel like its time for me to explain an opportunity many of us cannot afford to keep over looking.

According to CNBC News they listed the average medians across the U.S. based on age and sex.

“The median household income in the United States is $56,516, according to 2015 data from the U.S. Census. But that rises and falls depending on close you are to peak earning age, which is typically around age 49 for men and 40 for women.”

What is even more shocking is what that equates to on a weekly pay scale.

• 35 to 44 years: $976 weekly/$50,752 annually
• 45 to 54 years: $975 weekly/$50,700 annually

And these figures are supposed to be highest time/ age of earnings in an adults life! Now if you’re saying I’m not one of those people… well thats great but you still might want to hear what I have to say, and if you are one of those people who fall into the category I hope this article with open your eyes to the possibility of another way.

Network Marketing…. Yes, I am going to say it, Network Marketing let me just get those ugly words out there.

Now before you move on to the next post just give me a few more minutes of your time to explain why most people cringe when they hear those words, but at the same time more people are starting to say it can be good.

MY MISTAKE

I am not speaking from an untouchable place on a pedestal, as I too was once one of those people earning around national median. But I didn’t want to be average so instead I worked around an average of 20 – 25 hours of over time a week. Oh how proud of myself I was, I mean look how much more overtime I was working this nearly doubled my annual salary.

Great right!!! Wrong… It was horrible because when tax season came I got taxed heavily as my salary thrusted me into a different tax bracket and in return I learned later if I worked about half of those hard earned overtime hours I would have still made about the same after tax season. WHAT, I worked for nothing!!!

WHAT IVE LEARNED

I have met many people who are doing the same thing, working two to three different jobs trying to make ends meet and at the end of the day they have very little time for family and over the years have no energy to maintain that same kind of work habit.

Network marketing, did not make me a millionaire… But it has given me breathing room in my life and I tell you what it sure is a lot better than doing all those crazy overtime hours for nothing.

The best thing about being in this industry is that the effort you put in you will get out. I started doing it part time primarily talking to people here and there with a simple question.

“Why would you buy something from someone else when you could buy it from yourself.”

-This was usually followed up with wait… What?

-I then kindly say

“Do you brush your teeth, do you shower with soap, do you use deodorant? Of course you do everyone does. Those are all the products that you could be earning a bonus off of by buying from yourself and not from some middle man online site.”

* From this point if your still not interested I get it perhaps you have worked with other MLM companies and had a bad experience, or perhaps you think this is about taking advantage of people, or maybe worse than those you believe this is something you would not be good at doing.

Majority of people I meet the number one reason they do not succeed in this business/ or afraid of taking a look is because of self doubt! Of course if you were to join my team I would be excited, but more than that I think the most important message I can share today is that if you continue to allow self doubt to prevent you from truly reaching your goals perhaps its time to ask what am I doing.

WHAT OUR JOBS SHOULD BE OFFERING US

This is what success looks like in my Network Marketing business, and this is especially an important message to those who said earlier Im not an average median earner.

• Time Freedom (even when Im on vacation or doing some hobby I’ve always dreamt of doing now I can because people are going to be brushing their teeth/ using my products and ordering them as needed.)
•  Residual Income (The adage goes if you help enough people to get what they want you will get what you want. This is very true in my Network Marketing Company by helping other to build you too grow your business and this creates a continual
• Car bonus (Company pays you a monthly stipend to buy your own car. If you already have the car you want well then you can pocket the cash instead.
• Chairmans bonus (This bonus is an additional earning based on your efforts. Starting around $1,500 up to $1.1million. By the way $1,500 is almost two weeks worth of work for the median household and this is in addition to your sales.)
• Team leader bonus (This is a bonus paid on your success helping other build their businesses.)
• Travel (Free travel two times a year for you and a loved one plus additional spending cash while you’re traveling.)
• No Salary Cap (Yep, even if I’ve been in the business a billion years but you are working harder than me you will end up earning more income and there is no limit to how far you can go. A mentor of mine grew up living in such a small home that the closet was her bedroom, but today she is a millionaire with a private home for her Cats. There is no dream too big with the right attitude and determination.)
• Inheritance (Maybe the most beautiful part of this company is that your success can be willed to your family.)

These are only a few of the reasons why the Network Marketing Industry has been getting more support from wealthy entrepreneurs. As more and more people are seeing that owning your own business doesn’t require large sums of cash anymore, and doesn’t require years of college or marketing skills. What it does require is the desire to make a change, the drive to see that change come true and the ability to duplicate a process that has/ is helping people to succeed.

As always I hope this post clarified some questions you may have had or at least got you to start asking how you can have more of the things you really want out of life. Our time is limited we deserve much more than to be working the best days of our life away for someone else to get rich.

Africa making the Golden Opportunity

While working with Forever Living Products I have seen a continual business growth in the African nations. And by working with distributors in Africa I think I am starting to understand how people with very little income are excelling in our business model.

From my observations I believe these are some of the key ingredients to our success in Africa.

• Work Ethic- From my distributors and retailers I know, I see a very strong work ethic in them. They are willing to do the daily income producing activities and follow the business plan I’ve established for them.
• Drive- To be able to stay focused you have to have a dream, and what I can tell you is that most of the people I speak with this is definitely something they have locked in to.
• Focus- It’s easy to get distracted with other opportunities, ideas or reinventing the wheel, so how does my team break that cycle by establishing a clear end goal and a time line for people to set their focus to. Having a clear direction avoids people from getting lost and keeps them on target.
• Optimistic- This can easily be the number one reason why I think the African nations are doing so well. The desire for success is not just a destination it is a place of happiness and excitement. I think this feeling of excitement with a clear goal is the key ingredient in anything we do.

This couple is a great example of the optimism and drive I am talking about in Africa!

I really enjoy working with the African people, because of these healthy habits they bring to the table and when I work in other parts of the world I look for these very similar traits because I know these traits create amazing results.

Are you on the right train?

Today We stopped far short of our destination. Leave the train because of a malfunction. People murmur sad stories and some laugh as they trip along their way to the exits. Standing on the yellow dirty bumps eagerly to jump back into the cars. Pushing and shoving to get back to the front. I stand still for a moment. As one shoves by, glares back with discontent as I do not join in the competitive hustle.  They probably are wondering if I have some hidden knowledge of what’s to come, and thats why I am not fighting to get back on the train first. Three trains pass and yet I wait. This train is now a local, this train is now going express… because of early problems all trains are running with delays. Still I wait.
I breathe and look at the faces of people who are not only late for work but for their own lives, and once more I plunge back into the NY minute. My friends, do not believe I am being rude or non social it is a moment of lapse as I try to ground myself in a world where so many have sold their greatest commodity, “time” for a job (Just over Broke). My frustration lies in the fact that I have not been able to help enough people to step out of this environment.
I write this message as a reminder that a job will not feed you, clothe you or give you a roof. Only you can do that! So the next time you are on that crowded train and asked to step off smile and wait for the right train to come, because it’s your hard work, your skills and your time that will provide the abundant life you seek.
